Characteristics of Dobermans:
The Doberman Pinscher is an intelligent, highly conscious Dog and a fearless guardian. The Doberman is a strong and important member of the workgroup that was developed for police and military work, to be a protective and companion in the home. This breed originated in Germany, and quickly gained popularity in the world for its courage, intelligence, and loyalty.
Naming a Doberman Pinscher:
Dobermann's dog named after Carl Frederick Louis Superman. Who played a major role in the development of the breed in the late 1800s. Initially, "Doberman Pincher" dogs were called from Germany. Later, however, the name was shortened to “Dobermann” for simplicity. Because Pincher, a German word for running, was no longer appropriate. The British also dropped the Pincher title after several years, but it continues in North America.
The evolution of the Doberman Pinscher:
